Mera Peak (6,461 m/21,190 ft) is one of the most famous trekking peaks in Nepal, widely known for climbing. If you love to climb mountains, Mera Pera climbing can offer you a wide variety of exciting experiences. You will be walking along the trekking trail before you get to the base camp. From the base camp, you climb to the high camp and then finally to the summit. Once you reach the summit, stunning views of Mount Everest, Mount Cho Yu, Makalu, Nuptse, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, and various others can be viewed. This trek is more challenging than other treks as it includes climbing from the peak to the summit. You must be in good physical health, but no prior experience scaling up mountains is required to undertake this journey, as it is not difficult to climb, and very little technical knowledge will be enough. Our experienced guides will orient you before climbing the peak. In addition to exploring the peak and base camp area, the trek will involve experiencing the great beauty of mountainous peaks in the Khumbu region, including Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, and many others. In addition to enjoying the peak climbing, you will also have the chance to explore the Makalu Barun National Park area, and if lucky, you might spot some rare animals as well.
The trek will also take you through the villages before heading for the summit. You will be walking through Sherpa villages, where you will receive warm hospitality from the Sherpas, often known as mighty climbers. Local hot beverages are served at tea houses along the way, along with traditional Nepali cuisine. They are sure to fill your taste buds with some unique flavors. Although community life is not so prosperous, the service they provide is homely and welcoming. Ancient monasteries are decorated with prayer wheels and prayer flags, which exhibit the religious inclination of Sherpa people towards Buddhist culture.
